Message They may get beat up a bit in the process, but so long as they are in one piece and still direct air thru the IC's then they are fine.

If you have a dremel, the job is infinitely easier.

IIRC when I modified my jspec fascia ducts for my Greddy IC's I had to relocate some of the adhesive foam on the mating surface. Pretty sure this was to close off the top or bottom edge of the IC face since they are shorter in height than OEM IC's.

As far as trimming the duct depth, that is an easy job. Measure how much thicker the Greddy's are than OEM, and trim that much off the front of the ducts. The ducts have an inch or so of "overlap" with the fascia openings so it doesnt need to be all that precise, just don't go overboard and trim too much. It's not hard to seat the fascia onto the front of the car and see if they are still interfering, but in all honesty I am willing to bet you get it right the first time around.
